ED Raids Continue at Filmmaker Akash Baskaran’s Chennai Home for Second Day

 The Enforcement Directorate (ED) intensified its probe into alleged financial irregularities by continuing raids at the residence of prominent Tamil film producer Akash Baskaran for the second consecutive day. The search operations are taking place at his home in Teynampet, Chennai, as reported by Thanthi TV.

Akash Baskaran, a well-known name in the Tamil film industry, is the driving force behind Dawn Pictures, a production house that has delivered several blockbusters featuring stars like Dhanush, Siva Karthikeyan, and Silambarasan TR.

Despite the ongoing investigation, Dawn Pictures remains actively engaged in the industry, with three major projects currently under production—Idhayam Murali, Idly Kadai, and Parasakthi—all of which boast leading actors from the Tamil film fraternity.
